Maximized Emulation helps create a centralized location for emulation related guides and help.  Specifically, we focus on guides to help our readers configure, setup, and tweak settings in Maximus Arcade.  Maximus Arcade is a useful and user friendly program created by Mameseer that can run multiple emulators under one frontend and is available for only $25.00 U.S.  Additionally, we intend on providing  tools to help edit the Maximus Arcade themes and providing guides that help you setup emulators that may not be supported by Maximus Arcade just yet (Dolphin).

This blog will be written in up to four languages (Italian, English, French, and possibly Mexican Spanish).  We welcome the world emulation community to help us improve our guides and articles.

There are a few simple rules we ask that visitors follow:

  1. Please do not discuss or ask us how to acquire illegal roms. We assume that you have acquired your roms legally as we have.
  2. No profanity, disrespectful, racist, sexist, homophobic, or xenophobic remarks. Please be respectful to others and help create a safe space for all members.
  3. Be helpful and nice to newbies =)

About the Authors:

Jontox: At first, my parents didn’t want to buy me anything related to games… so I started playing games mainly at the arcade then at friends’ home. I should say that I felt in love with the Neogeo and specially fighting games. For all of you who never tried it,  I urge you to test my favorites (Art of Fighting 2,  Samurai Showdown 2, Metal Slug X and one often forgotten but one of the best for me, especially with friends, Windjammers). Afterwards, I had the chance to have a very good friend of mine who was in possession of a Neogeo so I spared quite a lot of money 🙂 .

At the time, my parents changed their mind (I’m sure it was due to my ceaseless whining) and I received a Gameboy. I was more happy to see them offering me something related to games then playing with it lol. To sum up, I grew up with Arcade games, Commodore, Atari ST, Amiga, NES, Super NES, Megadrive, Neogeo, PSX, XBOX and XBOX360 being my actual last bought console… to be continued

I have been working on a hyperspin setup for a while and haven’t gotten far with the graphics, images, themes, and videos. I could really use help from someone with a full collection. I don’t need any games or systems just the front end stuff and Hyperspin settings linking them all. If anyone is willing to upload this to my personal server ftp I would forever be in your debt. I have gotten some themes and some setups working but it has been time consuming and unfortunately I haven’t had as much time as I had hoped on this project. If any of you guys can help me out you would make me one very happy guy!

This is awesome software, but Mameseer is a dirtbag who is still collecting money, not updating the software and more importantly NOT SENDING REGISTRATION KEYS OUT TO PAYING CUSTOMERS!! Hopefully his PayPal account will be disabled after enough disputes are logged against it so he can’t keep stealing money from everyone. Nobody says he has to keep the project up, and he certainly doesn’t owe anyone updates, but don’t accept payments if you have no interest in delivering a really simple product (a reg key).
