How to configure Street Fighter IV for arcade controls

June 4, 2010 1 comment

The unfortunate thing about SF IV for pc is that it makes it hard for you to configure this on your pc, the good news is that there is a solution. I know I’m a bit late in the game, but better late than never. Before starting this make sure you have street fighter IV installed, I’m sure you can figure out that part.

Before doing this, even before step one, run SFIV and make sure the gamepad buttons are set to default and the keyboard buttons are set to “none” which can be done by highlighting each commands and pressing “esc” on your keyboard

1.Now download this file here http://www.xgaming.com/service/ServiceFiles/X-SF4.zip

2. Unzip the file and in here you will find x360kb.ini and xinput1_3.dll

3. Place these files in the same place as your street fighter IV .exe file (it should be something like C:/program files (x86) /capcom/ street fighter iv

4. Now right click the x3y60kb.ini file with notepad, and edit the buttons to match your control panel layout

for player 1 and 2,

X (light punch) Y(medium punch) right shoulder (strong punch)

A (light kick) B(medium kick) right trigger (heavy kick)

And now you can play street fighter IV on your control panel!
